Melissa, a native of Boynton Beach, Florida in Palm Beach County, is the founder of Inner Core Beauty, LLC, which she launched in March 2022. More than just a hair product line, Inner Core Beauty is a ministry dedicated to helping young girls and women discover their true worth and inner beauty. Her mission is to make a meaningful impact on those battling low self-esteem, insecurity, depression, suicidal thoughts, and more.

Melissa’s passion for hair began at the early age of five. Even as a child, she confidently declared that one of the three things she would become was a stylist. Her love for hair blossomed as she spent hours styling each of her dolls' hair, mimicking the techniques she observed in salons. That passion only grew stronger, and she began begging her mother to let her do her own hair. At just nine years old, her mother finally agreed—and from there, Melissa’s journey flourished.

What began as a childhood passion has evolved into a calling that now encompasses not only hair care but also scalp care and restoration. Melissa is deeply committed to promoting healthy hair from the inside out.

With a team of like-minded women, she plans to host workshops and events that offer intimate spaces for inner healing, realignment, restoration, and encouragement—especially for young girls and women who are emotionally wounded or broken.

Led by her faith in God, Melissa aims to uplift communities using creative and effective strategies. Though her vision is vast, she trusts that with Jesus’ guidance and her strong work ethic, everything she’s purposed to do will come to pass. With Christ, all things are possible!
